Job summary

Structor Construction is hiring a Multifamily Assistant Superintendent to work under one of our Superintendents, taking ownership of assigned scopes and areas while building toward full site authority. This development role provides real work with mentorship and progressively larger scope.

You will oversee daily activities for trades, ensure quality through inspections, and coordinate deliveries and logistics on a multifamily site.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of commercial construction field experience including lead/foreman time.
• Degree in construction science, construction management, or engineering — or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and details.
• OSHA 30-Hour certification, or willingness to obtain within 90 days.
• First Aid/CPR, or willingness to obtain.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Assist daily activity for assigned trades, areas, or phases.
• Complete daily logs, field reports, and superintendent deliverables.
• Conduct safety inspections in your area — and stop work that doesn't meet standard.
• Perform QA/QC inspections and document deficiencies through correction.
• Coordinate deliveries, laydown, hoisting, and site logistics.
• Lead daily huddles for your crews and trade partners.
• Track and report schedule progress so impacts get caught early.
