Job summary

Beyond IT Support is seeking an experienced MSP Desktop & Field Support Technician for our Florida office in Bradenton. You will be the local hands-on IT resource, handling tickets, onsite visits, installations, and basic networking alongside a remote support team.

The role requires 5+ years of professional IT experience, strong Windows troubleshooting, and proficiency with Microsoft 365. Local travel to customer sites is expected as needed, with opportunities to mentor two bench technicians.

Qualifications

5+ years of professional experience in desktop support, help desk, field service, or MSP-related IT roles.
Strong Windows desktop and laptop troubleshooting skills.
Experience supporting Microsoft 365 and common business applications.
Experience installing, diagnosing, repairing, and replacing computer equipment.
Basic working knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS/DHCP, Wi‑Fi, VPNs, routers, switches, firewalls, and network cabling.

Responsibilities

Provide remote and onsite support for desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals, and common business applications.
Troubleshoot Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, hardware and connectivity issues.
Set up new computers, user accounts, monitors, printers, and office equipment.
Perform diagnostics, hardware upgrades, data transfers, malware removal, and equipment replacements.
Visit customer locations when remote support is insufficient and coordinate with remote technicians.
