Job summary

Accenture Infrastructure & Capital Projects seeks a seasoned professional to lead FF&E management for college projects. You will oversee selection, procurement, scheduling, installation, and move-in/relocation, coordinating with CPD, architects, and relocation managers to ensure on-budget delivery.

You will develop scopes for swing space, assess reuse of existing furniture, manage IT equipment planning with the Technology team, and monitor budgets through milestones.

Qualifications

• 4 year College Degree in Architecture, Interior Architecture, Interior Design, Construction/Project Management, Planning, Facilities Management or related area required
• 7–10 years of project management and coordination experience in Move/Relocation Management, PM, Interior Design, Facilities Management, or related procurement; 11–14 years if no degree
• Ability to read architectural and furniture drawings
• Knowledge of furniture and equipment specifications and procurement
• Flexibility to work at any LACCD colleges and site locations
• Strong written and oral communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat/Bluebeam

Responsibilities

• Manage FF&E selection, procurement, scheduling, installation, and move-in/relocation for college projects
• Coordinate with Procurement using best-value or low-bid public contracting for FF&E purchases
• Collaborate with CPD, architects, relocation managers, and user groups to define scope, budget, schedule
• Assess swing space and develop scope for construction or FF&E needs for temporary use
• Evaluate reuse potential of existing furniture and equipment with college and A/E teams
• Develop and validate FF&E budgets at project milestones
• Attend weekly project meetings to ensure FF&E layouts and integration of new and reused items
• Review design documents to confirm coordination of infrastructure and utility needs for FF&E
• Plan, procure, and install IT equipment with Technology Project Manager
• Oversee FF&E and move budgets/schedules, including value engineering for cost control
• Schedule and manage FF&E deliveries, installations, punch lists, and move-ins
• Coordinate specialty vendors, asset tagging, surplus disposition, and key transfers
• Maintain documentation and submit regular updates to leadership
• Onsite at client site with day and night shift assignments
