WSP is seeking a Mining Construction Safety Coordinator to monitor onsite construction activities for a large EPCM mining project within the Earth & Environment team. While the job site is in Northern Nevada, this full-time onsite position can be based anywhere in the United States with travel per diem for those not local to the project.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, project management, or a related field.
• 10+ years of hands-on safety management experience in active mining.
• MSHA certification is required; other certifications (CMSP, CSP, CSMC, CIH, etc.) and OSHA 30-hour are preferred.
• Experience in EPCM or Mine Owner roles for at least 2 years.

• Ensure contractor compliance with applicable safety standards, rules, and regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct risk assessments and safety audits to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
• Investigate workplace incidents and near misses; document findings and recommend corrective actions.
• Collect and analyze health and safety data.
• Adhere to the Code of Conduct and manage resources responsibly.
