WSP Global Inc. seeks a Mining Construction Safety Coordinator to oversee onsite safety across a major EPCM mining project in the United States. The role requires hands-on safety leadership, ensuring compliance with MSHA and client regulations while coordinating with contractors, engineers, and procurement teams.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of hands-on safety management experience in active mining settings, open pit and underground.
• MSHA certification required; other certifications (CMSP, CSP, CSMC, CIH) and OSHA 30 preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure contractor compliance with safety standards across the project lifecycle.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and safety audits; implement corrective actions.
• Investigate workplace incidents and near misses; document findings and corrective actions.
• Collect and analyze health and safety data to improve performance.
• Adhere to WSP Code of Conduct and project governance while managing resources responsibly.
