Job summary

WSP Global Inc. seeks a Mining Construction Safety Coordinator to monitor onsite construction activities for a large EPCM mining project.

This full-time, onsite role can be based anywhere in the United States, with preference in Nevada, Utah or Alaska; travel per diem is provided. You will support HSSE performance, ensure site compliance with regulations, and verify contractor safety across civil, structural, mechanical, electrical and earthworks scopes, reporting to the Project Health and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering, construction management, or related field.
• 10+ years of hands-on safety management in active mining settings, open pit and underground preferred.
• MSHA certification required; additional certifications (CMSP, CSP, CSMC, CIH) and OSHA 30-hour preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and oversee onsite construction activities for a large EPCM mining project.
• Support HSSE performance and site compliance with local, regional, legislative, and client regulations.
• Verify contractor safety across civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and earthworks scopes; collaborate with internal teams and clients.
