Responsibilities

• Prepare metallurgical specimens from various parts for source approval activities.
• Evaluate and document materials, microstructures, and repair-process effects.
• Develop proficiency with cut-off tools, mounting presses, and polishing equipment.
• Handle chemicals to prepare specimens for microstructural analyses.
• Assist engineers in coordinating specimen machining and testing.
