Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Materials, Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering with 8+ years of experience, or an advanced degree with 5+ years.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in quality, engineering, manufacturing, materials, or aerospace functions.

Responsibilities

• Execute Engineering Source Approval activities for conventional machining and special processes such as milling, turning, grinding, drilling, broaching, welding, brazing, and surface treatments.
• Collaborate with supplier engineering teams and internal Engineering, Procurement, and Quality to complete process approvals, evaluate changes, and resolve technical variations.
• Manage approval schedules and resources to ensure timely, rigorous, and compliant qualifications of aerospace manufacturing processes.
• Review and validate process operation sheets, process monitoring methods, NDE techniques, and destructive metallurgical testing results.
• Analyze and document process performance, prepare technical reports, and develop standard work to strengthen manufacturing consistency.
