Job summary

Pratt & Whitney, part of RTX, seeks an entry-level contributor to support the QPE Core Laboratory Group in East Hartford. You will perform metallurgical testing on aerospace materials and generate validated reports in line with blueprint and specification requirements.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Metallurgy or Materials Science with a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Onsite roles apply, with comprehensive benefits and a competitive salary range between 57,200 and 108,800 USD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Metallurgy, Materials Science, or related Engineering with a minor in Metallurgy/Materials Science.
• Prior metallurgical laboratory experience and understanding lab protocols preferred.
• RTX internship, co-op or work experience is a plus; minimum 3.0 GPA required.

Responsibilities

• Perform metallurgical analyses of aerospace materials for standards compliance.
• Provide clear, concise lab reports and data interpretation.
• Interact effectively with customers at all levels.
