Job summary

Gaumard Scientific in the United States is seeking a Simulator Installation and Training Specialist to install, configure, and train end users on Gaumard simulators at customer sites. This role delivers white glove service, builds product knowledge, and communicates professionally during on-site visits, scheduling, and post-training follow-up.

An associate degree and experience with Windows/Microsoft Office are preferred; travel up to 75% is required.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Basic technical aptitude to learn simulator operation, installation, and basic troubleshooting.
• Experience with workstation software, hardware setup, installation, upgrades, or repairs.
• Working knowledge of Windows-based systems and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact professionally with customers and team members.
• Ability to manage time, travel responsibilities, documentation, and develop independence.
• Ability to work extended hours and travel up to 75%+.

Responsibilities

• Performs operational in-service training, installation support, and basic maintenance recommendations at customer sites.
• Performs simulator setup, system checks, software verification, and post-service review following procedures.
• Communicates professionally with customers during onsite visits and documents interactions.
• Finalizes service details with customer site POC for onsite training and equipment needs.
• Reports and schedules follow-ups as required after visits.
• Completes administrative duties including service documentation and SAP entries.
• Manages calendar and scheduling of visits to customer sites.
