Job summary

Gaumard Scientific is seeking a Field Service Representative 1 to diagnose and repair Gaumard simulators at customer sites across the West Coast. The role includes hands-on training, travel to hospitals and universities, and documentation of service activities.

Requires technical education and strong problem‑solving and communication skills. The position supports after-hours work and weekend tasks when needed and offers competitive pay with benefits.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a technical or medical area or equivalent experience; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Ability to travel 75%+ of the time and work extended hours as needed.
• Experience with workstation software and hardware installation, upgrades, and repairs.
• Strong communication and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs training on Gaumard Standard and Advanced Patient simulators and supporting software at customer sites.
• Visits hospitals, universities, medical centers, etc., to inspect, diagnose, and repair Gaumard’s simulators using light tools or electronics equipment.
• Troubleshoots using schematics and instructions to repair simulators during visits.
• Requests support and verification from senior Field Services Reps during troubleshooting and installation.
• Participates in group communications with Field Services Team members.
• Completes repairs and verifies functionality in a timely manner; documents work.
• Acts as primary contact for conference calls with customers.
