Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC in Daytona Beach, FL is seeking an Onsite Medical Representative (OMR) to join the Workplace Health & Safety team. You will assess and provide first aid, guide associates on injuries, and coordinate with external providers to ensure rapid, effective care.

The role requires BLS and EMT/Paramedic or Athletic Trainer credentials, with the ability to work flexible shifts and engage with leadership on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS certification from an approved ECC provider; EMT/Paramedic or Athletic Trainer credentials required.
• OSHA regulations and Workers' Compensation knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide first aid support and referrals to outside medical providers as necessary.
• Minimize AA risk through awareness, education, and proactive engagement.
• Maintain all records of care provided to AAs.
• Coordinate workers’ compensation and return-to-work programs for related injuries.
• Provide daily activity logs and end-of-shift reports.
• Engage with AAs and leadership on the operations floor to coach on at-risk work habits.
• Maintain a clean working environment and ensure medical supply inventory is stocked.
• Participate in training to facilitate first aid, CPR, and AED certifications.
• Maintain all first aid, CPR, AED credentials.
• Work flexible shifts including days, nights, holidays, and weekends.
• Assist with random saliva drug testing protocols.
• Support emergency response and care delivery at the site.
