Amazon seeks an Onsite Medical Representative (OMR) to support Workplace Health & Safety at a Markham site in Illinois. The role provides first aid, guidance on injuries and illnesses, and coordination of workers’ compensation with a focus on safety and wellness for Amazon Associates.

You will work with site leadership, attend safety meetings, and ensure proper records, training, and certifications are maintained. Flex shifts, CPR/AED training, and OSHA familiarity are key."

Qualifikationen

• High school or equivalent diploma.
• Current valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by an approved ECC provider; and one of EMT/Paramedic or Athletic Trainer certifications.
• Certified to teach first aid, CPR, and AED training by American Heart Association or Red Cross.

Aufgaben

• Provide first aid and refer to outside medical providers as needed.
• Minimize AA risk through awareness, education, and engagement.
• Maintain records of care provided to associates.
• Coordinate workers’ compensation and return-to-work programs.
• Provide daily activity logs and end-of-shift reports.
• Coach on at-risk work habits and safety practices on the operations floor.
• Maintain medical supply inventory and a clean work environment.
• Assist with first aid, CPR, and AED trainings.
