Job summary

Amazon's Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) team in Coppell, TX is hiring an Onsite Medical Representative. The role provides first aid, guides associates on injuries, and supports daily safety operations on site.

You will assess medical needs, refer to external providers, maintain records, manage workers’ compensation and return-to-work processes, and support CPR/AED training. Requires BLS, EMT/Paramedic or athletic trainer credentials with OSHA knowledge.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• BLS certification valid and current.
• EMT or Paramedic certification required or Athletic Trainer certification.
• Trainer certifications in first aid, CPR, AED preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and digital recordkeeping.
• Experience with OSHA regulations and workers' compensation.
• Industrial wellness program experience beneficial.
• Last year military medical experience (Combat Medic, Field Medic, etc.) advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide first aid support and refer to outside providers as needed.
• Minimize injury risk through awareness, education, and engagement.
• Maintain all care records and documentation.
• Coordinate workers’ compensation and return-to-work programs.
• Provide daily activity logs and end-of-shift reports.
• Coach associates on safety and body mechanics on the shop floor.
• Maintain medical supplies and environment cleanliness.
• Assist with first aid, CPR, AED training/classes.
• Maintain credentials and participate in training.
• Work flexible shifts including days, nights, holidays, weekends.
• Support saliva drug testing protocols.
