Job summary

Amazon Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) is seeking an Onsite Medical Representative to join our team in Murfreesboro, TN. You will provide first aid, guide associates on injuries, and coordinate care with external providers as needed.

You will maintain records, manage workers’ compensation programs, and participate in trainings to certify CPR/AED and other credentials. The role requires flexibility to cover shifts days/nights/weekends in a dynamic site environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Current BLS certification and EMT/Paramedic or Athletic Trainer certification.
• CPR/AED certification from AHA or ARC is required or must be obtained within 3 weeks of start date.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to maintain accurate digital records.
• Experience with OSHA regulations and Workers' Compensation is preferred.
• Recent military healthcare experience (Combat Medic, Field Medic, Healthcare Specialist, Hospital Corpsman, or Aerospace Medical Service Technician) within the last year.

Responsibilities

• Provide first aid support and refer to outside medical providers as needed.
• Minimize injury risk through awareness and coaching on safe work practices.
• Maintain all records of care provided to associates.
• Coordinate workers’ compensation and return-to-work programs.
• Provide daily activity logs and end-of-shift reports.
• Engage with associates and leadership to coach on observed at-risk habits.
• Maintain a clean work environment and medical supply inventory.
• Participate in training to facilitate first aid, CPR and AED certifications.
• Maintain all first aid, CPR, AED credentials.
• Work flexible shifts including days, nights, weekends, holidays.
• Assist with random saliva drug testing protocols.
• Support emergency response and care delivery at the site.
