Job summary

Amazon is hiring an Onsite Medical Representative (OMR) to support Workplace Health & Safety at a Louisville site. You will deliver first aid, advise associates on injury prevention, coordinate workers’ comp, and maintain records.

Training in CPR/AED and OSHA-regulated practices is required, with fitness to work in a dynamic, outdoors-insulated environment. You’ll engage with site leadership, attend safety meetings, and support emergency response while maintaining supplies and credentialing.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent diploma.
• Current valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• EMT or Paramedic Certification from DoH, NREMT, or equivalent.
• Athletic Trainer Certification (BOC or State).
• Certified to teach first aid, CPR, AED training.
• Experience with OSHA regulations and Workers' Compensation.
• Experience with industrial wellness programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide first aid support and referrals to outside providers.
• Minimize risk through education and proactive engagement.
• Maintain records of care provided to Associates.
• Coordinate workers’ compensation and return-to-work programs.
• Provide daily activity logs and end-of-shift reports.
• Coach leadership on at-risk work habits on the operations floor.
• Maintain medical supplies and environment.
• Facilitate first aid, CPR and AED trainings.
