Job summary

Amazon in Virginia is seeking an Onsite Medical Representative (OMR) to join its Workplace Health & Safety team. You will work with the WHS Site Manager, WHS Specialist, and IPS to support safety, health, and wellbeing of associates, including first aid and case management reviews.

The role involves educating on occupational/non-occupational injuries, referring to outside providers, and learning OSHA regulations while supporting site safety operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• EMT or Paramedic certification or Athletic Trainer certification required or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide first aid and refer to outside medical providers as needed.
• Minimize injury risk through awareness, education and engagement.
• Maintain care records for all associates.
• Coordinate workers’ compensation and return-to-work programs.
• Provide daily activity logs and end-of-shift reports.
• Coach associates and leadership on safe work habits.
