Job summary

Amazon seeks an Onsite Medical Representative to provide first aid, advise on occupational health matters, and support safety operations at the Clarksville, TN site. You will maintain care records, coordinate workers’ compensation, and conduct on-site coaching for safe work practices while working with the WHS team.

You must hold current BLS, EMT/Paramedic or athletic trainer credentials, and have experience with OSHA regulations and industrial wellness programs.

Qualifications

• For those that do not have an adult First Aid, CPR, AED certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross, must obtain within 3 weeks of start date.
• High school or equivalent diploma is required.
• Current valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; must have EMT/Paramedic or Athletic Trainer credentials.
• EMT OR Paramedic Certification from DOH or NREMT; OR Athletic Trainer Certification.
• Certified to teach first aid, CPR, and AED training by AHA or Red Cross.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with an industrial wellness program.
• Experience managing musculoskeletal disorders, ergonomics, and coaching on body mechanics.
• Demonstrated work experience with OSHA regulations and Workers' Compensation.
• Proficient in digital recordkeeping.
• Recent military medical experience (Combat Medic/Field Medic/Hospital Corpsman/etc).

Responsibilities

• Provide first aid and refer to outside medical providers as needed.
• Minimize injury risk through awareness, education, and engagement.
• Maintain records of care provided to associates.
• Coordinate workers’ compensation and return-to-work programs.
• Provide daily activity logs and end-of-shift reports.
• Coach on observed at-risk work habits with associates and leadership.
• Maintain medical supply inventory and a clean environment.
• Facilitate first aid, CPR, and AED training certifications.
• Keep first aid, CPR, and AED credentials current.
• Work flexible shifts including days, nights, weekends, holidays.
• Assist with random saliva drug testing protocols.
• Support emergency response on site.
