Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK) in Middletown, NJ, is hiring a Medical Coordinator to join the patient care team. You will be the first point of contact in the outpatient clinic, assist with scheduling, registration, and rooming, and help ensure a smooth, welcoming experience for patients and families.

This onsite role requires a high school diploma and at least one year of healthcare or customer service experience.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent is required.
1 year of relevant experience in healthcare, clinical support, medical office, patient-facing, or customer service role is needed.
Onsite work in a clinical environment and basic clinical tasks such as taking vital signs may be required.

Responsibilities

Serve as the first point of contact for patients in the outpatient clinic.
Support clinic operations through scheduling, registration, and patient flow management.
Provide hands-on assistance with preparing exam rooms, rooming patients, and reviewing/updating allergies/pharmacy/medication lists as needed.
Facilitate timely and clear communication between patients, providers, and the care team.
Maintain MSK standards for cleanliness, safety, and infection control.
Advocate for patient comfort, access, and satisfaction throughout the care journey.
