Job summary

Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center is hiring a Medical Coordinator to serve as the first point of contact for patients in the outpatient clinic. You will support scheduling, registration, rooming, vital signs, and ensure smooth patient flow in a fully onsite setting.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of healthcare or patient-facing experience, with strong organization, communication, and technical skills in EMR and MS Office.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of relevant experience in healthcare, clinical support, medical office, patient-facing or customer service role.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for patients in the outpatient clinic setting.
• Support clinic operations through patient scheduling, registration, and flow management.
• Provide hands-on assistance with preparing exam rooms, rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, and updating lists as needed.
• Facilitate timely communication between patients, providers, and the team.
• Maintain MSK’s standards for cleanliness, safety, and infection control.
