Qualifications

• Certified medical coder with recognized credential(s) (CCS, CRC, or CPC).
• 2+ years of coding experience preferred.
• Experience using ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS coding books.
• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records.

Responsibilities

• Review medical records to assign ICD-10-CM and CPT codes.
• Apply ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS coding per official guidelines and company standards.
• Ensure coding accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain coding information in internal databases and systems.
• Collaborate with internal teams and respond to information requests.
