Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be certified CCS, CRC, or CPC.
• Recent graduates with coding experience are encouraged to apply.
• Experience using ICD-10, HCPCS and CPT coding books.
• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records.
• Experience reading, interpreting and coding charts.
• This is an onsite position at 1400 US-441, The Villages, FL.

Responsibilities

• Review medical records to assign diagnosis and procedure codes.
• Apply ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS and other coding systems per guidelines.
• Ensure coding is accurate, complete and compliant with requirements.
• Analyze, enter, update, and maintain coding-related information in databases.
• Clarify internal requests for information and documentation-related questions.
• Identify missing or unclear documentation and elevate issues.
• Support audits, quality reviews, and coding validation activities.
• Maintain productivity and quality for coding work.
• Stay current on coding updates and internal processes.
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve documentation and outcomes.
