Job summary

CenterWell Senior Primary Care in The Villages, FL, is seeking a Medical Coding Coordinator to verify diagnoses and assign accurate Outpatient CPT and ICD-10 codes. Qualifications

• Must be certified at least one of CCS, CRC, or CPC.
• Recent graduates with coding experience encouraged to apply.
• Experience using ICD-10, HCPCS and CPT coding books.
• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records.
• Experience reading, interpreting and coding charts.
• This is a fully onsite position, Monday through Friday, at 1400 US-441, The Villages, FL

Responsibilities

• Review medical records and related materials to assign appropriate diagnosis and procedure codes.
• Apply ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, and other coding systems per guidelines and standards.
• Ensure coding is accurate, complete and compliant with requirements.
• Analyze, enter, update, and maintain coding-related information in systems.
• Respond to internal requests for coding decisions and documentation questions.
• Identify missing or unclear documentation and elevate issues as needed.
• Support audits, quality reviews, and coding validation activities.
• Maintain productivity and quality for assigned coding work.
• Stay current on coding updates and internal processes.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support accurate documentation and coding outcomes.
