Qualifications

• Experience in medical billing or claims processing.
• Knowledge of CPT/procedure and diagnosis codes.
• Ability to handle confidential patient information.
• 100% onsite in the Harrisburg area.

Responsibilities

• Process and submit medical insurance claims.
• Verify patient insurance (primary and secondary).
• Follow up on unpaid, denied, or rejected claims.
• Work Accounts Receivable (A/R) and aging accounts.
• Post insurance and patient payments and adjustments.
• Assist with claim corrections, resubmissions, and appeals.
• Generate secondary claims and patient statements.
• Review billing information for accuracy.
• Work with CPT/procedure and diagnosis codes.
• Research insurance and patient account discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient information.
• Learn and work within multiple medical billing and internal systems.
• Support the billing team and assist with additional projects when needed.
