Job summary

A-Line Staffing Solutions is hiring a Medicaid/Medicare Billing Specialist in Harrisburg, PA for an on-site contract role. Responsibilities include applying Medicaid/Medicare regulations, reviewing financials, and guiding facilities on billing processes.

Qualifications include a bachelor's degree or equivalent, knowledge of Medicaid and Medicare billing, and experience with healthcare accounts receivable. This position is Monday–Friday, 40 hours weekly, with temporary status.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education/experience with Medicaid billing requirements.
• Working knowledge of Medicaid and Medicare billing processes.
• Healthcare accounts receivable and cost reporting experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of Medicaid/Medicare regulations for nursing facilities.
• Conduct financial reviews and follow-up assessments per requirements.
• Provide billing guidance/technical assistance to skilled nursing facilities.
• Review resident trust accounts for expenditures and fiduciary control.
• Validate payer source and census accuracy against facility records.
• Analyze accounts receivable to identify overpayments and support recovery.
• Prepare documentation and present findings to facility stakeholders.
• Conduct entrance/exit conferences with assigned facilities.
• Respond to calls/emails from providers and communicate requirements.
• Process claims adjustments and track status.
• Support hearings/appeals as needed.
