Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Associate's Degree in Medical Assisting preferred.
• Experience: 1–2 years in MA or medical field required.
• BLS certification preferred.
• National CMA or equivalent certification preferred.
• Epic experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with both clinical and non-clinical patient services as directed by providers.
• Take vital signs, document patient information, and record in medical records.
• Schedule appointments and manage patient flow in a fast-paced clinic.
• Explain procedures and instructions to patients; provide educational materials.
• Perform blood collection and prepare specimens; phlebotomy if competent.
• Maintain immunization inventory and check expiration dates.
• Provide immunizations as applicable under supervision.
