Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a 40-hour, full-time Medical Assistant to join a patient-centered primary care team in Natick, MA. The on-site role runs Monday through Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm, at 307 West Central Street, delivering essential clinical support under physician direction.

The ideal candidate has completed MA training or has 1–2 years of MA experience with a national MA certification. The role emphasizes patient flow, vital signs, and collaborative care in a community setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate's degree in Medical Assisting preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) preferred.
• 1–2 years MA experience required.
• Certified Medical Assistant preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs, document patient information, and record in medical record.
• Schedule appointments and manage patient flow.
• Assist in examinations and treatments under physician or AP supervision.
• Explain procedures and medications to patients; provide education materials.
• Collect blood samples, perform phlebotomy if qualified; maintain immunization inventory.
• Maintain privacy standards and collaborate with care team.
• Support onboarding and training of junior staff.
