Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to support our Danvers, MA practice onsite. The role involves taking vitals, scheduling, patient education, and clinical support for providers in a collaborative team environment.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of MA experience, a High School diploma or equivalent, and Epic experience. BLS/NC certifications are preferred but not required. 40-hour work week, daytime schedule.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate's degree in Medical Assisting preferred.
• 1–2 years of direct MA or medical field experience.

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs, document patient information, and enter data into the medical record.
• Schedule appointments and manage patient flow to support providers.
• Explain procedures and instructions to patients; provide education materials as needed.
• Answer phones, handle insurance forms, and liaise with other departments.
• Collect specimens and prepare them for testing; perform phlebotomy if competent.
• Maintain immunization inventory and administer vaccines when qualified.
