Mass General Brigham is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant at our Lexington practice (1 Maguire Road). The role supports a Primary Care provider in a single-provider patient setting, performing vital signs, documentation, and 1:1 patient interaction across about eight patients per day.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, BLS certification, and 1–2 years of MA experience. Onsite schedule is Monday–Friday with standard daytime hours.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Medical Assisting degree preferred.
• BLS Certification required; CMA preferred.
• Direct MA or healthcare experience 1–2 years required.

Responsabilidades

• Take vital signs and document patient information in the medical record.
• Assist with patient flow, schedule appointments, and coordinate care with providers.
• Collect blood and other specimens; prepare for testing and perform phlebotomy if competent.
• Explain procedures and discharge instructions to patients and caregivers.
• Answer phones, manage insurance forms, and liaise with other departments with a patient-centered approach.
• Maintain immunization inventory and ensure vaccine expiration checks.
