Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Onsite Medical Representative (OMR) to join the Workplace Health & Safety team at a site in Aberdeen, MD. You will provide first aid, guide associates on injuries, coordinate care with external providers, and support safety operations on site.

Flexible shifts including days, nights, holidays, and weekends are possible. You will maintain records, participate in safety meetings, and help with trainings in CPR/AED and first aid.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current BLS certification; EMT or Paramedic certification or Athletic Trainer certification.
• Certified to teach first aid, CPR, and AED training.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with industrial wellness programs.
• Experience with OSHA regulations and workers' compensation.
• Military combat medic or equivalent experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide first aid and refer to outside medical providers as necessary.
• Minimize risk through awareness, education, and proactive engagement.
• Maintain records of care provided to associates.
• Coordinate workers' compensation and return-to-work programs.
• Assist with first aid, CPR, AED training and certifications.
• Work flexible shifts including days, nights, holidays, and weekends.
