Abbott in Madison, WI is hiring a Materials Management Associate I to support basic materials handling, inventory control, shipping/receiving and restocking. This entry-level role works under close supervision and follows clearly defined procedures to ensure timely material flow for lab, production, and operations.

Schedule is Monday through Friday, 7am to 3:30pm with pay ranging from $21 to $24 per hour. The position is onsite at Madison, WI, and requires lifting up to 50 lbs, forklift

Formación

• High school diploma or GED with 1+ year of related experience.
• Associate degree in logistics, business, or related field preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office and accurate data entry.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate site equipment.
• Forklift certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Receive, inspect, label, and store incoming materials.
• Operate forklifts and site equipment (e.g., electric jacks, cherry pickers).
• Restock lab supplies and fulfill internal material requests.
• Support basic inventory transactions in SAP/EWM.
• Prepare outbound shipments and ensure DOT/IATA compliance.
• Document receipts, storage, and shipment records; follow SOPs.
