Job summary

Abbott is seeking an entry‑level Materials Management Associate I to support basic materials handling, inventory control, and shipping/receiving operations onsite in Phoenix. The role follows defined procedures under supervision, contributing to timely material flow for lab, production, and operations.

Responsibilities include receiving and labeling materials, operating site equipment, restocking supplies, and documenting records while adhering to GMP and SOPs.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED with 1+ years of related experience.
Basic computer proficiency and accurate data entry.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on your feet.
Forklift certification or ability to obtain.
Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Experience with SAP/EWM preferred.

Responsibilities

Receive, inspect, label, and store incoming materials.
Operate site equipment including forklifts and cherry pickers.
Restock lab supplies and fulfill internal material requests.
Document receipt, storage, and shipment records.
Support inventory transactions and data entry in SAP/EWM.
Adhere to GMP, SOPs, and safety requirements.
Escalate discrepancies and damaged goods per protocol.
Engage in cross-training and skill development.
