Job summary

Abbott in Madison, WI, seeks a Catering & Event Delivery Attendant to set up, serve, and break down catering events. Responsibilities include restocking supplies, assisting with food prep, and maintaining sanitation standards in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates will have strong customer service and teamwork skills and be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Shift: 1st, 7am-3:30pm, Monday-Friday. Base pay ranges from $17.00 to $34.00 per hour, onsite at Abbott Cancer Diagnostics facilities.

Qualifications

Basic computer skills including Internet, email and word processing.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

Prepare, set up, and break down all catering and event needs including decoration and arrangement of dining areas, ensuring correct setup and timely execution of event functions according to specifications.
Transport materials to and from service areas, adhering to health and safety standards for food, serving ware, and equipment.
Prepare and serve food in an attractive manner, maintaining a positive, courteous demeanor with customers.
Address customer concerns promptly and communicate issues to leadership.
Manage inventory and restock supplies for daily operations and events.
