Job summary

MasTec, Inc. is seeking a Materials Receiver to support the Field Buyer with daily tasks, including receiving all materials and maintaining accurate inventory on site. This role requires domestic travel to support multiple construction sites and ensure timely material delivery and handoff to subcontractors.

The position emphasizes forklift operation, use of Procore, and collaboration with project managers, superintendents, and site teams to maintain orderly laydown areas and up-to-date records.

Qualifications

• 1 year of construction experience.
• Able to operate a forklift.
• Proficient with Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
• Knowledge of scheduling software and basic project coordination.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate deliveries by accompanying truck drivers to drop sites.
• Ensure material packing slips are accurate and update inventory.
• Distribute materials to site personnel and manage on-site storage.
• Maintain inventory tracking and provide daily reports to management.
• Prepare receiving paperwork for accounting use and verify deliveries for damage.
