Job summary

MasTec Clean Energy & Infrastructure is seeking a Materials Receiver to support the Field Buyer with daily tasks such as receiving all materials and maintaining accurate inventory on site.

The role requires coordinating deliveries, ensuring accuracy of packing slips, and maintaining inventory control. Candidates should have basic Microsoft Office skills and at least one year of construction experience, with forklift ability. Travel is required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
• A minimum of one year of construction experience.
• Able to operate a forklift.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate deliveries by accompanying truck drivers to the drop sites.
• Coordinate deliveries to the laydown yard for each area of construction.
• Ensure material packing slips are accurate.
• Distribute materials to site personnel.
• Maintain inventory control and storage of received items.
• Provide daily material delivery reports to onsite management.
• Maintain major material tracking log.
• Complete receiving paperwork for accounting use.
• Inspect deliveries for damage and defects.
• Coordinate with Expeditor for delivery dates.
• Transfer equipment to subcontractors in a timely manner.
• Upload all supporting docs into Procore daily.
• Ensure materials stored per vendor requirements.
• Create and maintain onsite subcontractor contact list.
• Backup support for the Onsite Purchaser.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
