Job summary

E2 Consulting Engineers, LP is seeking a Material QC Inspector in Pico Rivera, CA. You will perform visual and dimensional inspections on pipe, fittings and valves, read MTRs, and ensure material compliance with API 5L and ANSI standards.

Today’s role requires 3 years in piping-related fields, a valid driver's license, and the ability to pass background checks and drug testing. Join a team focused on safety, quality, and reliability.

Qualifications

• 3 years' experience in piping, fittings, or valve components.
• Must be local to the Los Angeles, CA area.
• Knowledge of API 5L and ANSI material standards.
• Must pass a drug test and background check.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Visual, dimensional, and ovality inspection.
• Inspection of documentation and validation of quantities.
• Verification/validation of Material Test Reports (MTRs).
• Validate material against company standards.
• Quarantine material that does not meet criteria and issue NCRs.
• Material traceability.
• Stenciling, marking, preservation, packing and shipping.
• Daily reporting and production schedule monitoring.
