Job summary

E2 Consulting Engineers, LP is seeking a Material QC Inspector to join our inspection team in the Los Angeles area. You will perform visual and dimensional inspections of line pipe, fittings, valves, and related components, and interpret associated specs and ITPS to ensure material integrity.

The role requires knowledge of API 5L and ANSI standards, document verification, and daily reporting. Local candidates preferred; strict safety and QA practices apply, with potential for field work in

Qualifications

• 3 years’ experience in piping, fittings, or valve components.
• Must be local to the Los Angeles, CA area.
• Fundamental knowledge of API 5L and ANSI materials.
• Must pass a drug test and background check.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Desired: 5+ years’ experience in related field.
• Desirable certifications: AWS CWI, NACE/AMPP CIP Level 1.

Responsibilities

• Visual, dimensional, and ovality inspection.
• Inspection of documentation, bill received, and validate quantities.
• Verification/validation of Material Test Reports (MTRs).
• Validate material against set company standards.
• Quarantine material which does not meet set criteria and issue NCR.
• Material traceability.
• Stenciling and marking Preservation, packing and shipping.
• Daily reporting and production schedule monitoring.
