Job summary

Three Rivers Corporation is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to verify that fabrication and installation of industrial process piping complies with project specifications, ASME B31.3, welding codes, and the company quality manual. The role collaborates with project management, shop personnel, field supervision, customers, and third-party inspectors.

Responsibilities include performing inspections, reviewing drawings and P&IDs, documenting results, and ensuring material traceability and NC

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industrial quality inspection experience.
• Strong working knowledge of ASME, AWS, NBIC codes.
• Experience with industrial construction, chemical plants, refineries, or similar facilities.
• Ability to read and interpret piping isometrics, P&IDs, fabrication drawings, and specifications.
• Knowledge of welding processes, welding inspection, and NDE methods.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality inspections of piping fabrication and installation.
• Verify compliance with ASME B31.3, project specs, welding procedures.
• Review drawings, isometrics, P&IDs, and specs.
• Conduct visual weld inspections and dimensional inspections.
• Verify materials, heat numbers, MTRs, and traceability.
• Coordinate and document NDE activities.
• Perform final walk-downs and turnover inspections.
• Prepare quality documents and inspection reports.
• Identify nonconforming work and assist corrective actions.
• Collaborate with project teams to resolve quality issues.
• Interface with customers and third-party inspectors.
