Job summary

Pratt & Whitney is hiring a Material Handler in Clayville, NY. The role involves moving materials onsite using powered industrial vehicles and supporting departmental objectives. You will perform inspections, transport materials, and packaging for shipment, while following CORE and EH&S guidelines.

The shift is 4x10, Monday–Thursday, 6:00am–4:00pm, with a $21.00/hour base rate. The position requires a HS diploma or GED and US citizenship per access requirements.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED is required.
• Experience with pre-operation inspections of PIVs desirable.
• Must be able to lift and transport up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-operation inspections of powered industrial vehicles (PIVs) and other equipment.
• Operate various PIVs to transport materials within the facility.
• Support department needs by handling scrap materials, delivering supplies, and packaging materials for shipment.
• Adhere to CORE guidelines and EH&S requirements.
• Communicate with other departments to coordinate inbound/outbound material handling.
• Follow safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
• The role includes a 4x10 schedule: Monday–Thursday, 6:00am–4:00pm.
• This role is onsite at the Clayville facility.
