Job summary

Pratt & Whitney is seeking an onsite production support specialist in Clayville, NY to help manage the hourly workforce and production flow. You will participate in toolbox talks, monitor productivity, and assist with quality and safety initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a HS diploma with 4 years of relevant experience, strong attendance, and the ability to work outside regular hours. Comprehensive benefits are offered and the hourly rate is $28.00.

Qualifications

• HS diploma (or equivalent) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
• Strong attendance and reliable work record.
• Ability to work hours outside of the regular shift.
• Good mechanical aptitude and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Support the Standard Production System Tier 1 with the hourly workforce; conduct toolbox talks and monitor production flow.
• Plan and delegate assignments for metallurgy, chemistry and product delivery quality personnel.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and ensure work aligns with schedules and resources.
• Track work in progress, troubleshoot problems, and assist workers with issues.
• Coordinate with supervisors and other departments to align priorities and communicate findings.
