Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide variety of material processing tasks within an assigned area. Retrieve information via computer, adjust inventories and record transactions.
• Follow established methods to receive, store, issue and transport various materials including rough stores, finished parts, consumables, tooling and gages; perform pick and pack, kitting and shipping to meet in-plant and customer requirements.
• Ensure all transaction documentation is correct and entered electronically.
• Operate and maintain centralized cribs or dispensing equipment; maintain adequate levels of supplies.
• Support the assigned area by providing information and fulfilling special requests for approved items; operate storage/retrieval systems.
• Perform physical inventory counts and item verification; adjust database as needed.
• Operate packing and labeling equipment; follow approved packing methods to prevent damage during transport.
• Provide inside/outside material transportation; ensure loads are secured; operate material handling equipment as needed.
• Load or remove engines from trucks using forklift/hoists; ship/receive/store/distribute materials from internal/external sources.
• Check shipping containers for damage; ensure documentation is accurate and materials entered into the system.
