Job summary

Pratt & Whitney, part of RTX, seeks a Material Handler to ensure efficient material movement on site. You will operate powered industrial vehicles, perform pre-operation checks, and support inbound/outbound material flow while adhering to CORE and EH&S guidelines.

The role is onsite with a 4x10 schedule (6:00am–4:00pm). Candidates must pass inspections, lift up to 25 lbs, and maintain good attendance and communication within the team.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Experience performing pre-operation inspections of powered industrial vehicles (PIVs).
• Experience operating various PIVs to accomplish job functions.
• Must have a good attendance record.
• Must have strong communication skills.
• Must be able to work from heights – up to 60'.
• Must be able to wear a respirator.
• Must have strong mechanical aptitude.
• Position requires climbing stairs, standing long periods, bending, squatting, and lifting up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Move and handle materials onsite to support operational needs.
• Operate PIVs to transport materials within the facility.
• Perform pre-operation inspections of PIVs and equipment.
• Pack and deliver supplies, collect scrap for reclamation, and pack materials for shipment.
• Coordinate with other departments to manage inbound/outbound material flow.
• Adhere to CORE guidelines and EH&S procedures.
