Pratt & Whitney is hiring for an onsite Warehouse/Materials Associate in Asheville, NC. The role involves receiving, storing, issuing, and transporting a variety of materials, plus handling shipping, packing, and inventory duties in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED and 1+ years in materials, shipping & receiving, or related fields. OSHA knowledge and safety practices are preferred; on-site work with 3x12 shifts is expected.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1+ years of experience in materials, shipping & receiving, warehouse operations, or logistics.
• Knowledge of material inventory and movement systems preferred.
• Storekeeping methods and arithmetic for handling paperwork.
• Familiar with OSHA and general safety practices.

Responsabilidades

• Receive, store, issue and transport a variety of materials.
• Query information using a computer system to retrieve data.
• Perform pick and pack, kitting, and shipping operations; ensure documentation is accurate.
• Operate and maintain centralized cribs and related storage areas.
• Maintain adequate levels of supplies and fulfill special requests for approved items.
• Perform physical inventory counts and adjust database; use packing and labeling equipment.
