Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing/Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day production at our Pascagoula, MS facility. The role leads a small team, ensures safety and accountability, and drives performance across blending, packaging, and shipping.

You will manage 5 direct reports, monitor KPIs, and uphold efficient production while supporting operations as needed. Weekend flexibility may be required based on production volume.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a small team and creating accountability around attendance, safety, productivity, and performance.
• Hands-on leadership style with ability to support production when needed.
• Experience with inventory, shipping, production workflows, and KPIs.
• Strong communication and people-management skills.
• Ability to work in a warm, active manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily manufacturing, blending, packaging, and shipping operations.
• Manage approximately 5 direct reports and coordinate with other employees.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed and performance expectations are met.
• Foster a positive working environment while enforcing policies.
• Oversee movement of raw materials through finished goods.
• Support blending operations and transfer of finished product for shipment.
• Monitor inventory, production output, orders, and outbound shipments.
• Develop and track operational KPIs (inventory accuracy, shipment volume, on-time delivery, safety).
• Step into production activities when necessary to keep orders on schedule.
• Identify opportunities to improve workflow, efficiency, safety, and overall performance.
