Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support production operations and improve processes for high-quality, repeatable manufacturing of complex electro-mechanical systems. You will work closely with Production and R&D to tackle challenges and drive continuous improvement.

You will be heavily involved on the factory floor, designing jigs/fixtures, creating work instructions, and collaborating with NPI, Quality, and Supply Chain to improve manufacturability and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day production activities to ensure smooth operations.
• Develop and optimize assembly processes for electromechanical systems.
• Create detailed work instructions and process documentation.
• Design and improve fixtures to enhance efficiency and quality.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using lean principles.
• Collaborate with Production, NPI, Quality, and Supply Chain.
• Troubleshoot production issues to minimize downtime.
• Manage multiple tasks and projects in parallel.
• Align engineering solutions with production needs.
• Contribute to reducing waste and improving reliability.
