Actalent is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to develop, improve, and support custom aerospace component manufacturing. You will optimize processes, tackle equipment issues, and drive changes across production operations, with influence over design, build, and automation in a dynamic environment.

Based in Blue Ash, OH, this permanent onsite role emphasizes safety, quality, and cost control while delivering measurable improvements and leading cross-functional initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
• 25 years of experience modifying manufacturing build setups to meet design changes.
• 23 years of experience designing fixtures or tools using 3D SolidWorks.
• 35 years of experience in manufacturing process automation with strong automation knowledge.
• 25 years of experience participating in capital equipment purchases and implementation.

Responsibilities

• Provide process engineering support for development, modification and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes for custom aerospace components.
• Lead and implement manufacturing process improvements using data collection, analysis and formal problem-solving techniques.
• Diagnose equipment and process issues using structured problem-solving methods and implement durable corrective actions.
• Engineer in-house and subcontractor tooling solutions, including fixture design and machine changes.
• Take ownership of projects from planning through implementation and follow-up.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on tooling, capital equipment and process automation to support manufacturing objectives.
