Job summary

Perfection Parts and Equipment seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to design and improve integrated manufacturing/assembly processes, ensuring safety and efficiency while meeting product specs. The role focuses on developing and implementing improvements across production systems with attention to ROI and compliance.

You will lead on-site meetings, balance resources with demand, and supervise tooling budgets and sourcing. Strong collaboration and data-driven decision making are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM required or 5 years of related STEM experience.
• 3 years of experience handling issues in a project management role preferred.
• Experience with manufacturing/assembly processes and design-for-manufacturing concepts is expected.

Responsibilities

• Develops principles and practices to improve manufacturing/assembly equipment and processes.
• Lead on-site team meetings and communicate with teams and individuals.
• Determines and balances resources with customer demand and production schedules; develops standard operation times and conducts time studies.
• Budgets costs with design, development and testing of tools, machinery, and equipment for manufacturing methods; may oversee sourcing.
• Fosters communication with external stakeholders, business leaders, and functional teams; maintains relationships and mentors stakeholders.
• Evaluates and recommends vendors, materials, and equipment changes with ROI justification.
• Performs PFMEA, tracks KPIs, conducts JSA, and contributes to DFM and process capability inputs; provides ergonomic assessments.
• Develops procedures and plant layouts to ensure proper material handling and storage.
• Maintains knowledge of safe operating procedures for CNG fuel systems and related compliance.
