Job summary

Fairgrove Property Management is seeking an Onsite Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of an apartment community in Southern California, including leasing, marketing, resident services, and turnover management. A professional demeanor with residents and vendors is essential.

The role is part-time (10-15 hours/week) with compensation of $19.00 per hour and on-site housing available (discounted studio). Living on-site is required.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of property management experience.
• Willingness to live onsite.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; AppFolio experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for residents and vendors
• Respond to emergencies and urgent after-hours issues
• Market vacancies and show available units to prospective residents
• Keep accurate resident and property records in AppFolio
• Perform unit inspections and coordinate turnovers
• Maintain a clean, well-kept community, including light porter duties such as sweeping and general cleanup
• Schedule and oversee vendors, and verify completed work
• Monitor vacancies, work orders, and other key property metrics
• Review and approve vendor invoices
• Order supplies and manage inventory
• Stay current on landlord-tenant and fair housing laws
• Attend company meetings and trainings

Job Summary

An Onsite Manager is responsible for the overall management of the day-to-day operations of the apartment community including leasing, marketing, resident services, and turn over management. An Onsite Manager must maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with prospects, residents, vendors, and fellow employees always.

Part-Time Position Hours: 10-15 hours per week
Responsibilities: Oversee 1 building with a total of 16 units
Compensation: $19.00 per hour
Housing: Discounted Studio unit available. Must live onsite.
