Job summary

Carlisle Companies is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain mechanical, electrical, and boiler systems in a manufacturing setting. The role involves executing capital projects, repairs, and routine upkeep across the facility—expect a 40-hour week with varied shifts and occasional overtime. No travel required.

The candidate will diagnose issues, repair machinery, and ensure safe, efficient operations, working onsite with a focus on safety and quality in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Education – High School diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years related maintenance experience.
• Preferred: electrical, plumbing, carpentry, welding, and boiler.
• Mechanical background with rotating equipment, hydraulic and pneumatic; troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Reassemble machines after repair or maintenance.
• Start machines and observe operation to detect issues.
• Inspect or test damaged parts and report repairs.
• Lubricate parts and apply materials per procedures.
• Install/replace machine parts per specs.
• Dismantle machines for repair using tools.
• Record production, repair and maintenance data.
• Read work orders to determine equipment needing service.
• Set up and operate machines and adjust controls.
• Move parts and tools between areas using cranes/Hoists.
• Discard worn parts to maintain machinery and area cleanliness.
• Clean machines and parts with solvents and tools.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
