Job summary

Carlisle Companies is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair mechanical, electrical, and boiler systems within a manufacturing setting. You will execute capital projects and handle diverse maintenance tasks across the facility, with a 40-hour work week and rotating shifts including possible overtime.

No travel required. Responsibilities include reassembling machinery, starting and monitoring operations, inspecting parts, lubricating components, and documenting maintenance

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or GED.
• 1-2 years related maintenance experience preferred.
• Experience in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, welding, and boiler maintenance is a plus.
• Rotating equipment experience; mechanical/electrical troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Reassemble machines after repair or maintenance.
• Start machines and monitor operation for efficiency and problems.
• Inspect or test damaged parts and report repairs.
• Lubricate or apply materials per procedures.
• Install or replace machine parts per production specs.
• Dismantle machines and remove parts for repair.
• Record maintenance and repair information.
• Read work orders to determine repair needs.
• Set up and operate machines and adjust controls.
• Transport parts and tools between areas.
• Clean machines and parts; discard worn parts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
